My basic settings for shooting video are 25p 50M, SLog3, AF-C. I set my autofocus drive speed to slow and I change my ISO depending on the lighting. Obviously, if you want to shoot in slow motion, you’ll have to change your frames per second, but you can keep everything else the same.
TIP - Get creative - Open up your aperture to F5.6 or lower for blurred background and shallower depth of field. TIP - When shooting fish portraits with the 90mm open your aperture to F11 to start. This will give you strobes more reach, as the camera is letting in more light.
“2nd base ISO” in video is available in all picture profiles not just SLOG3. It can differ from PP to PP. Technically it’s not a base ISO but Sony marketed it that way. Slog profile (pp 7 or pp 8) will give you great dynamic range as long as you know how to edit in post. For first timers, this can be daunting.
